Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the whole distributed product development team, which consists of several product lines in the customer engagement space.
  • Lead engineering planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, timetables, implementation, and deployment of product.
  • Lead the product strategy coordinating with key business stakeholders and customers having required market insights through product and market research.
  • Develop engineering strategy and for developing and maintaining a technical roadmap that will continue to innovate from a technical standpoint.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance: Develop a robust quality assurance system for testing the product before release and ensure no bugs in the released products.
  • Own the engineering methodology. Align with the executive team to improve the development process, prioritize projects, and manage multiple work streams.
  • Maintain and build a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Define the product team org chart and institute a strong performance management system for engineering to ensure that quality of talent in the org is appropriate for a fast-growing company in a highly competitive market.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from top engineering institutes.
  • Min. 15 years of strong technical experience with at least 8 years of experience in managing a diverse team of Engineering Managers, Software Architects, Product Managers, Software Developers, QA Engineers.
  • Prior work experience of minimum 5 years as CTO, VP of Engineering or a similar role is a must.
  • Should have the experience of managing a team of more than 100. Ideally has managed a team of 100+.
  • Technical Knowledge of REACT/Angular JS, C#/Java, SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Strong hold on project and product management, DevOps, architecture, QA and process to lead scalable, stable, and flexible tech solutioning for long-term strategy.
  • Extensive software engineering development and design experience with complex and highly scalable products using multiple technologies and languages.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Experience in customer support or CRM software space is a plus.
