Instead, it sits alongside the agent in their console, monitoring the conversation in real time and surfacing relevant information, suggested responses, and recommended next steps. The Comm100 AI Copilot leverages pre-built answer matching and generative answer creation to suggest responses. When a customer sends a message, the copilot analyzes the text in real time using natural language understanding to identify the customer’s intent. It then searches designated answer sources (public canned messages, knowledge base articles, and AI chatbot intents) for the best match.
Each source is scored by confidence level, and the copilot surfaces the top suggestions ranked by relevance. You control how many suggestions appear and the minimum confidence score required for a suggestion to display, so agents aren’t overwhelmed by low-quality recommendations.
When no pre-built answer matches the query closely enough, the Comm100 AI Copilot uses its Generative Answers capability to compose an original response. This generated answer draws from the same knowledge sources you’ve connected to the AI Agent (website content, uploaded documents, cloud files) and formulates a contextually relevant reply. The agent sees both the generated response and the source material it was derived from, so they can verify accuracy before sending.
The AI Copilot operates across live chat and all Ticketing & Messaging channels, including SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, and Twitter/X.
Because the copilot operates within Comm100’s unified agent console, it also has access to cross-channel conversation history. If a visitor previously interacted with the Comm100 AI Agent on live chat and then follows up via messaging, the copilot can reference the earlier conversation to inform its suggestions, reducing repetition and accelerating resolution.
