98% of students at least somewhat agree that the quality of support is an important factor when choosing which school to join.
Engaging with prospective students is difficult at the best of times. It’s even more difficult if you don’t know what matters most to them when choosing a school, and how they want to be engaged. Our latest higher education student survey polls 18-29 year olds currently studying at schools across the United States and Canada, enrolled in a 2-year, 4-year, or graduate program to answer the all-important question – what do students want when applying to colleges and universities?
Alongside these major findings, the Admissions survey also recommends best practices to capitalize on these insights. Some key findings from the student survey include:
- 99% think it’s at least somewhat important for schools to offer 24/7 support
- 59% are less likely to engage with a school if they have to wait more than 30 minutes for a response
- Only 23% of students prefer to connect with a potential school via phone.
