Why does the chat button image not display on my site?

I have pasted the live chat code onto my website. But when I open my website, I cannot see my chat button image. Why?

Possible Reason

  1. Are you using the Monitor Only button?

    There are three types of chat button: Image Button, Text Link and Monitor Only. The chat button is invisible if you are using the Monitor Only type. Monitor Only is a good choice when you want to monitor your visitors but do not want visitors to see the chat button on your site.

  2. Do you select the Hide the offline chat button in the Options under Chat Button menu and are there any online agents?

    If you enable the feature of hiding your offline chat button and there are no agents online, your chat button will be invisible on your site.

  3. Other reasons.


  1. Create a new website integration plan and use another type of chat button.
  2. Log into your Agent Console window.

    If your online chat button displays, it means your chat button work well. If you don’t want your offline image to be invisible, please unselect the Hide Offline Chat Button option in your Customize Chat Button page.
