We’re pleased to announce that Comm100 has upgraded the design of live chat mainly for the visitor side Chat Window and Invitations. This will help you to better engage your customers and provide a more intuitive chatting experience for your website visitors.

  1. Repositioning of Operation Icons in the Chat Window

    The buttons for Rating chat, Sending Transcripts, Printing, and Popup have now been grouped together in the top right corner of the Chat Window.

  2. New Minimize Button for the Chat Window

    When using Adaptive Chat Button and Embedded Chat Window, there is now a button in bottom right corner of the chat window that allows you to minimize or restore the window on desktop site view.

  3. Different Look for the Minimized Embedded Chat Window

    For adaptive chat button, the minimized chat window appears the same size as the chat button and displays the unread message count. When you are using the Image or Text Link type chat button, the minimized chat window will appear as a horizontal bar with the unread message count on it.

  4. New Bubble Invitation Style

    The new Bubble Invitation style adds agent’s avatars and the invitation message background now has the same color scheme as the chat window.

We have also made some changes to the message input area of the chat window. These tweaks include the way error messages are displayed, as well as the chat window colors and Banner Image selection. Please read this article for more details.
