How to create a chat button of the Text Link type?

There are three types of chat button you can pick up: Adaptive, Image Button and Text Link.

A chat button of the Text Link type shows as a text hyperlink on your web pages. Your website visitors can click the text link to initiate a chat with you.

If you want to use the text link for a new website, you can enable the Multiple Campaigns feature and create a new chat button of Text Link.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Log into your Comm100 account.
  2. Click Campaigns at the left menu.
  3. Add and Customize Live Chat Code Plans
  4. Click New Campaign to create a new campaign.

  5. Name the new campaign and the other info per your requirments. After you save the new Campaign, the customization for the chat button appears, select the Text Link type.

  6. Enter the text that is to be shown in your website and click Save Changes.
  7. Click Installation, select the text link campaign you created, copy the code and paste it onto your site without any changes.

    Note: Even after pasting the code onto your website, you can still customize the live chat style.
