Can I automatically send a pre-defined message after a chat request is accepted?

Yes.

You can set up a pre-defined and personalized message which is sent to the visitor once a chat is started. Each agent can customize his/her own auto greeting message.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Login to Comm100 Agent Console.
  2. Click Preference.

  3. Click Live Chat.

  4. Check Automatically send a pre-defined message after a chat request is accepted.
    Auto Send Greeting Message
  5. Edit your message and insert macros which you feel needed.
  6. Click OK and the settings will take effect immediately.
