Yes, you can.
When you are using Comm100 Live Chat iPhone App, you can switch to other applications without being logged out of Comm100 Live Chat.
If you are using iOS 4 or above, all your previous chats will be resumed automatically after you switch back to Comm100 Live Chat. But if you are using iOS 3, you need to log in again to resume your previous chats after you switch back to Comm100 Live Chat iPhone App.
Push Notification is supported in Comm100 Live Chat iPhone App. A notification is pushed when there is a chat request or a new response. When there is a chat request, you’ll get a ring sound (currently it only rings once). If it’s a new response, you’ll only get a very short “ding” sound.
You can manually set a specific time period for how long you will stay online after you switch to other applications or your iPhone goes to the power saving mode.
To do this, please click Stay Logged in for in Preference and then select a pre-defined time setting (e.g. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days and so on) according to your needs.
For example, you select 4 hours. Within 4 hours (from the point you switch to another application and back to Comm100 Live Chat Agent Console), you will receive notifications when there is a new chat request or a new response, and you can resume your previous chats after you switch back.
If you do not switch back to Comm100 Live Chat iPhone App within the pre-defined time period, you will be automatically logged out from Comm100 Live Chat iPhone App and no notifications will be pushed to your iPhone device any more.
