We are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative to own the front-line action for inbound and outbound lead engagement and act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers to discover their challenges and requirements and help them determine the most appropriate Comm100 solution for their needs.

A critical part of the Global Marketing team, the BDR will play a central role in Comm100’s long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-velocity, high-volume qualification of inbound leads and outbound prospects via chat, phone, email, and social media responses
  • Qualify prospects’ needs and effectively map them to Comm100’s offerings, collaborating closely with Account Executives
  • Work with Marketing to implement strategies and processes for maximizing lead quality
  • Become an industry expert and develop deep product knowledge
  • Share market and prospect intelligence with Product Marketing to improve our competitive intelligence, messaging, and product/market fit
  • Consistently achieve (and exceed!) quarterly quotas and goals
  • Conduct yourself professionally and act as a key ambassador of the Comm100 brand.

Requirements

  • Related Bachelor’s degree or diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience in sales and/or business development, with a record of achieving or exceeding quotas. Previous experience in the digital customer engagement/customer experience sector a strong asset
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening, presentation, and qualification skills
  • A quick technology learner who loves ‘getting dirty’ with our platform
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Self-motivated with a continuous sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and metric-driven
  • Professional and business acumen
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com. Salesloft experience a strong asset
  • Resident of Vancouver, British Columbia.
