Comm100 Forum Hosted 2.2 (Oct. 24, 2011)

1. You can run Comm100 Forum hosted independently, or integrate it with other Comm100 modules.
   • Added the integration with Comm100 Help Desk
     With the integration, your registered users can freely switch between Comm100 Forum hosted and your help desk. They can either post requests and ideas on your forum or access your service postal to track the cases they have submitted and keep tuned to the updates of your businesses.
   • Added the integration with Comm100 Knowledge Base
     The integration of Comm100 Knowledge Base and Comm100 Forum hosted allows you to promote a topic as an article candidate to your Comm100 Knowledge Base. It helps you collect possible knowledge base topics from Comm100 forum hosted.
2. Moved User Management to Comm100 User module.
3. Added Page Style and Header & Footer Settings which allows you to personalize your forum to match the style of your website.
4. Added Permission Settings which allows you to customize forum permissions for each operator.

Comm100 Forum Hosted 2.0.1 (Nov 28, 2010)

1. Fixed the session crossing bug which causes operators unable to visit a forum under another Comm100 site account (a different Site Id).

   This happens when someone has already logged into a Comm100 site account and meanwhile tries to browse the forum posts or knowledge base articles under another Comm100 site account (a different Site Id), he/she will come across the Runtime Error issue.

2. Fixed the bug that new registered users cannot get the pre-defined scores or reputation values if Moderation Required for New Registered Users or Email Address Verification Required for Registration is enabled.
3. Fixed the bug that under certain situations, Verification Code (CAPTCHA) does not work on the Login or Signup page.
4. Other minor bug fixes and tweaks.

Comm100 Forum Hosted 2.0 (Semtember 18, 2010)

Topics and Posts

1. Added Announcement functionality. Administrators can publish important messages in announcements for users' attention in forums.
2. Allow Poll topics.
3. Allow Reply Needed to View topics. Users can choose to create Reply Needed to View topics so that other users need to reply first before reading the topic.
4. Allow Attachment in topics and posts.
5. Added Favorites functionality. Users have their own Favorites folder to hold preferable topics.
6. Added Hot Topic strategy. (A topic will be marked as hot when it meets the required number of posts and/or views.)

1. Administrators can block users or IP addresses on the whole site for hours, days or permanently.

Added Score Strategy

1. Score system is a trading mechanism to encourage user participation. Score Strategy defines how much score points a user earns or loses when a certain action is performed.
2. Score Needed to View topics. Users can create Score Needed to View topics so that other users need to pay certain score points before they can view the topics.
3. Score Needed to Download attachments. Users can upload Score Needed to Download attachments so that others users need to pay certain scores to download the attachments.

Added Reputation Strategy

1. Reputation is an indicator of a user's activeness. It is designed to better manage users' permissions. Reputation Strategy defines how much reputation points a user earns or loses when a certain event occurs.
2. Users with different reputation points are dynamically divided into different reputation groups. Each reputation group may have a different level of permissions. (Reputation Group Permissions)
3. Score Needed to Download attachments. Users can upload Score Needed to Download attachments so that others users need to pay certain scores to download the attachments.

Added Comprehensive Permission Settings

1. Added general permission settings (Guest User Permissions and User Permissions) which enable administrators to assign permissions to guest users and registered users who do not belong to any user groups.
2. Added group permission settings (User Group Permissions and Reputation Group Permissions) which enable administrators to separate users into groups and assign permissions to specific user groups and reputation groups.
3. Added forum permission settings (Forum Permissions) which enable administrators and moderators to set separate permissions for different forums.

Added Message in User Control Panel

1. Users can send private messages to others.
